LISIERE
LISIERE is a nomadic swing which revisits macramé techniques.
Wilfully attempting to create a dialogue between the artisanal and the industrial, it tries to tie together the rope manufacturers with the handmade, through macramé techniques, to bring about a domestic object: the swing. This project highlights our relationship to the world: the movement in its lightness, the swaying and the ease of its displacement, LISIERE adapts.
This swing is at home both outside and inside thanks to the quality of its materials. It adjusts to the height of its user thanks to the buckle-hook. Finally, LISIERE is ecological thanks to being the results of a reapplication of industrial waste, and is designed to be easy to disassemble at the time of its disposal for recycling.
LISIERE was exhibited at “Jardin, Jardin”, Paris, June 2016
LISIERE was shortlisted for the Prix de Public, for the CINNA competition “Révélateur de Talents” 2017.
